Why propane?
Propane is an efficient way to power your home, business, oil field operation, and/or farm. You get all the benefits of a natural gas line, without the costs or difficulties that come with hooking up to a city gas grid. It’s cleaner, green energy that is produced right here in America.
How do I use it?
Use propane the same way you’d use natural gas! Residential and commercial customers can hook up gas appliances like dryers, stoves, water heaters, and more. It can also be used in the oil field to run everything, from on-site equipment to work vehicles. Agricultural users can use propane to fuel silos, farm equipment, weed torches, and more. Possibilities are endless with propane!
Is propane safe?
Propane is a safe alternative energy that has been proven over decades of usage. All of our technicians are trained and licensed to perform their services, including certifications to refill and re-pressurize tanks. As a propane customer, there are a few safety measures you can take, like installing carbon monoxide detectors, that will do wonders for your peace of mind.
What if I run out of propane?
Depending on your level of service, we will either 1) use wireless OTO data monitors to closely watch the levels in your tank, and will send a technician out to refill it at the appropriate time, or 2) send you a reminder that it might be time to refill, if you have chosen to self-monitor.
How does propane service work?
When you switch to Butch’s Propane, we will service your existing tank or provide and install a new one on your property. Then, we will periodically refill and clean the tank to keep you fueled year-round. There are no other fees! We only charge for gas, excluding sales tax, except if the tank runs empty or there is an interruption in service. We will perform a leak check to ensure the line is holding pressure as well as spray the fittings to ensure no other leaks on the tank are present, which costs a small fee. We want to deliver propane in a way that is easy and reliable while demonstrating our commitment to top-notch service.
